Data we collect
The contact and business enquiry forms collect your name, email address, optional phone number and message. Business enquiries also include the company name, area, number of people and accommodation dates. We also store the submission time, topic and handling status.
Purpose and legal basis
We use the information to reply, check availability and prepare an offer. Accommodation enquiries are processed to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. General questions and abuse prevention rely on our legitimate interest in providing customer service and protecting the form. We do not use form data for direct marketing without a separate legal basis.
Retention
We keep enquiries only as long as needed to handle them, prepare an offer and protect related rights. We assess retention case by case. Information relating to confirmed bookings, contracts or invoicing may be processed separately under applicable obligations.
Service providers and transfers
The form is sent to a Cloudflare Worker and stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. Cloudflare Turnstile checks for automated submissions. Cloudflare may process technical data to provide these services. Any processing outside the EU/EEA is subject to Cloudflare’s terms and safeguards. We do not publish enquiries.
Favorites and cookies
Favorite properties are stored only in this browser’s localStorage. We do not store favorites on our server. This site has no own analytics or marketing cookies; Turnstile and Cloudflare security features may process technical data needed for their services.
Maps
Property maps use OpenFreeMap map services and OpenStreetMap data. The map loads when you scroll to it. Your browser then connects to OpenFreeMap, which may receive technical browser data and, in exceptional cases, your IP address. Map markers show local services; an unverified property address is not shown.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, correction, deletion or restriction of processing. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. The applicable rights depend on the circumstances and legal obligations. Send requests to uniikkiloma@hotmail.com. You may lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman.
